Details

Press your own fresh apple cider the old-fashioned way at Tenafly Nature Center and learn the history of apple growing and cider making. A hands-on fall outing for the whole family.

Tenafly Nature Center supplies the apples and the press, and visitors do the pressing to make fresh, crisp cider the traditional way. You're welcome to bring a few apples of your favorite variety, since more apples means more cider.

While you press, staff share the history of apple cultivation and cider making.

All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. In bad weather the program is held under cover. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Tickets are $9 for members (use your seasonal promo code) and $12 for non-members.
